What is the best way for autoscaling SQL instances? It doesnt look like there’s an obvious way to do this. Have looked at elastic pools but i’m not sure if that’s really the correct solution.
I just want to understand that if my sql instance hits it’s roof, what options I have to either auto scale up/out? I thought about load balancing and synchronising two instances, but the shortest sync time I seem to be able to use is 5 minutes…which seems long to me.
I’m probably being daft and missing something obvious as this is my first time venturing into the world of sql so any pointers would be great
