Powershell AzureRM hangs after creating a VM

Hey everyone I have a powershell script that creates a windows VM in AzureRM using a powershell script. The VM is successfully created and can be connected to but after running

New-AzureRmVM -ResourceGroupName $ResourceGroupName -Location $location -VM $vmConfig

It is supposed to move on to adding extensions to the VM however it permanently remains in a state waiting for the VM to finish provisioning, despite that already happening and completing successfully.

Any particular suggestions as to why this might be happening?

Ah-Ha it finally errored out:
