Is there a “defacto” logging module for PowerShell?

I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question.

As I start to write more PowerShell code and share it with other users, I’m starting to see the need for script logging as a way to track script progress and and errors or things that “break” along the way. (Not so much for auditing, but more for troubleshooting at this point.) When I search for this, it seems like there are a LOT of people writting their own framework for this functionality. So many, in fact, that it makes me think that there is not a defacto logging module…or am I just missing it given the number of results in Google and the number of PowerShell Logging repositories in Github?
