IP filtering now available for Azure Storage

One big concern we’ve had with adopting azure storage is that it only supports key-based ‘authentication’, and is internet accessible. WIth this feature, you can integrate azure storage into your vnet, and specify which IP adddreses are allowed to access storage. Pair this with an ASE for PaaS or IaaS and you can now reduce your attack surface – or at least that’s the promise.

Has anyone tried this out?
