C# / UWP ApplicationData.Current.LocalFolder

Hi All,

I am having an issue on Windows 10 using Windows.Storage.ApplicationData.Current.LocalFolder to write a text file, in C#, for Windows 10 UWP, but I am finding that it does not create the file -at all-. The same test code on 8.1 Universal (not 10 UWP,) works fine.

I am using this guide from Microsoft, Quickstart: Local app data XAML (section: Write data to a file)

No errors, no debug halts; it proceeds without fault but does not actually create the file, and the ApplicationName folder does not exist in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local.

Again, happens on W10 UWP. Can anyone advise?
