Currently if you wanna develop native apps on android with C#, you need to use XAMARIN studio.
But since Microsoft open sourced .Net core and also developed the .NET Native technology , should we expect seeing a lot of C# apps on Linux and more importantly – on Android?
C# is a better language than Java in almost every way , and It has the best IDE (VS) of the world supporting it. Being able to development for all platforms in C# using Visual Studio is a dream worth working for!
But even after ~6 months after the release there is not much activity on .Net core – I wonder why .
What do you guys think ? Will it happen?
