I am sorry if I am too vague in my question.
This is the use case:
A user comes to my C# MVC web app and starts a process. Once the process starts, I send emails to all respective assignees to come to the webapp and complete their task.
I was wondering if there's a way I can use the email to log their action.
If I can create a checkbox and a comment box in the email HTML and have them click a button to submit it within the email itself.
Then if the submit button could pass their comment and checkbox value to a web service… which would log the data into my sql db.
I was looking at Outlook add-ins as an alternate and could not find a way to make an add-in which shows only for emails from a specific sender.
I am mainly struggling with finding the right words to do research with. So, any help to get me going in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
