I installed Visual Studio Community and quickly ran into an irritating bug when hitting "Go to definition" (or F12) on any referenced assemblies : a small popup just says "One or more errors occurred". What comes to my mind when this kind of bug occurs is something like "The framework is not installed correctly" or "maybe my referenced are messed up".
I googled this and found a solution that kind of worried me about how Visual Studio is actually tested. The solution consists in switching the settings from tabs to spaces.
Why ? From what I understand the feature that shows referenced assemblies with the "[from metadata]" flag probably tries some auto-formatting and gets stuck somewhere before displaying the window because of tabs settings but… in any case, shouldn't this feature be tested several times before going to production ?
